If there is a little RSS icon there, that indicates the prescence of an RSS feed. Simply clicking this link will subscrible to the feed. You can also bookmark a feed, by clicking on the XML button above.
Also, if you use google's new iGoogle homepage, you can embed RSS feeds into the page.
