Pini Banini's Razor (2009)
- Tagline:
- The brand new razor from Pini Banini is the closest shave yet!
- Synopsis:
- An irreverent black comedy in which Pini and Eva Banini prepare for party night. The dawdling Pini still needs a shave, but Eva doesn't want to be late. Haste and sharp blades make poor bedfellows.
It's the night of the shindig! On go the glad-rags, break out the bolly, and whack some Neil Diamond in the stereo. May the vino flow like a geyser! After a tough week's slog at work, the Banini's are eager to party! (yes, the verb).
All week, Eva has been cutting a silent boogie at work, mumbling the lyrics to 'Red Red Wine' under her breath.
Pini is missing a 'Columbo' marathon on UK Gold. Yet even he is jazzed about tonight: he's bought some new threads; got some nice new shoes; and even picked up a brand new razor. He too wants a slice of the action. If only the laid-back Pini had more time to get his act together.
After all, there are some things you just can't rush.
Filmed in a flurry, Pini Banini's Razor is another piece of high-energy fun. Mixing black-comedy gore with light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek slapstick, you should find this little film a gallon of laughs.
