Grimm (2006)
- Tagline:
- Life’s no fairytale. Not with the Big Bad Wolf at your heels.
- Synopsis:
- An abstract, suspenseful film in which a frightened young woman flees a sinister Lycan pursuer through jungles both concrete and organic.
A young woman, lost and alone, journeys far from home into the big, bad city. Her glassy eyes are confused by the urban sprawl. "So this is what the world looks like without my meds" thinks she.
She shivers. Cold down here. As if in a story, she notices a sweater lying handily by her feet. Better. Feels safer beneath her hood.
But the careless young girl will wander foolishly from the safety of the path, and trek deep into the deep, dangerous woods. There can be scary monsters in these forests. And one big bad wolf is moving in to get her.
But perhaps this is no cautionary tale, and maybe there is a twist to the happily-ever-after.
Conceived, executed and fully completed within two days, this was Spiderhouse Production’s entry into a '48 hour film' contest. This music-driven audio-visual piece is a testament to what some enthusiasm, ingenuity and sleep deprivation can achieve!
